Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or purchasing products from VANIE INC., you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using this website.

Products

Every VANIE piece is individually made by hand.

Slight variations in dimensions, surface texture, finish, proportions, natural gemstones, and other materials are an inherent part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.

Product photography is intended to represent each design but may not depict the exact piece received.

Product Availability

Because VANIE works with natural gemstones, ancient coins, and other individually sourced materials, certain pieces may become unavailable without notice.

Should a selected material become unavailable after an order has been placed, VANIE will contact the customer to discuss suitable alternatives before proceeding.

Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Previous purchases are not eligible for price adjustments resulting from future price changes.

Applicable sales tax will be calculated at checkout where required by law.

Payment

VANIE accepts payment by major credit card and wire transfer.

Payment for ready-to-ship pieces is collected at the time of purchase.

For made-to-order and custom work, payment or the required deposit must be received before production begins.

Split payments may be arranged upon approval.

VANIE reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, including orders suspected of fraud or unauthorized payment activity.

Production

Most VANIE pieces are made to order.

Standard production time is approximately 3–6 weeks unless otherwise stated.

Production schedules may vary due to the handmade nature of our work. Customers will be notified of any significant delays.

Shipping

Domestic and international shipping are available.

Orders are typically shipped via FedEx unless otherwise arranged.

Every shipment is fully insured for its full value and requires a signature upon delivery.

Tracking information will be provided once an order has shipped.

International Orders

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges required by their destination country.

Lost Packages

If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, VANIE will work directly with the shipping provider to resolve the claim and determine the appropriate replacement or refund.

Returns

Eligible returns must be requested within fourteen (14) days of delivery.

Approved returns must be shipped within twenty-one (21) days of the original delivery date.

Returned items must be unworn, unaltered, and in their original condition.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return results from a manufacturing defect or an error made by VANIE.

Warranty

Every VANIE piece is covered by a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects in workmanship.

The warranty applies only to defects resulting from construction.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, neglect, improper care, impact, alterations performed by another jeweler, or normal wear.

Repairs

Customers are encouraged to contact VANIE before arranging any repair or modification.

Repair costs outside of warranty coverage will be assessed individually.

Ring Resizing

Select rings may be resized.

The first resize is complimentary for eligible designs.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with resizing.

VANIE reserves the right to determine whether a design is suitable for resizing.

Natural Gemstones

Natural gemstones vary in color, pattern, inclusions, transparency, and appearance.

These characteristics are expected and should not be considered defects.

For custom commissions, clients approve their selected gemstone prior to production. Once approved and production has begun, gemstones cannot be exchanged.

Ancient Coins

Ancient coins sold by VANIE are authentic historical objects.

Surface wear, patina, irregular edges, inscriptions, and other signs of age contribute to each coin's individual history and are not considered defects.

Custom Orders

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before production begins.

Two design revisions are included.

Cancellation after production has begun is subject to a $1,000 cancellation fee in addition to any shipping expenses incurred.

All original designs remain the intellectual property of VANIE INC.

Intellectual Property

All VANIE designs, drawings, sketches, models, CAD files, renderings, photography, written content, graphics, logos, product names, website design, and other creative materials remain the exclusive intellectual property of VANIE INC.

No content may be reproduced, copied, distributed, modified, or used commercially without prior written permission.

User Generated Content

By tagging VANIE or submitting photographs, videos, reviews, or other content featuring VANIE products, you grant VANIE a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost and share such content across its website, social media platforms, and marketing materials.

Whenever reasonably possible, VANIE will credit the original creator.

Limitation of Liability

VANIE's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

VANIE shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the purchase, ownership, or use of its products or website.

VANIE is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, weather events, governmental actions, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Force Majeure

VANIE shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, labor shortages, supplier interruptions, governmental restrictions, or transportation disruptions.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

VANIE reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective upon publication on this website.
